ARTIST INFORMATION
Wen-Chun Yeh (b. 1977, Tainan, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese artist currently based in Tainan City. She earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York, in 2003, and her MFA from Pratt Institute in 2006. From 2009 to 2018, she served as an instructor at Chang Jung Christian University.
Yeh’s work has been exhibited internationally in cities such as New York, Seoul, Milan, Paris, and Hong Kong. Her recent paintings explore abstract spaces through repetitive dot patterns. These patterns serve as a visual language to express inner emotions, the passage of time, and unconventional spatial compositions.
Rooted in personal experience and influenced by Chinese philosophy, Yeh sees painting as both a meditative process and a reflection of her inner world. Her work seeks to capture not only form and structure, but also a sense of infinite energy and spiritual depth.
