清水 美於奈

Shimizu Miona (b. 1996, Osaka, Japan) is a dyeing and textile artist. She creates works using shibori, a traditional Japanese resist-dyeing technique, and fabric. Through the repetitive process of applying shibori one section at a time, she explores the possibilities of techniques and material expression, drawing inspiration from the interest, joy, and beauty found within this continuous process of handwork. She captures small discoveries in everyday life and subtle presences that are difficult to perceive, expressing them as if gently preserving them within the fabric.
