愛知県出身。東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科鋳金専攻修了。日本における「メダルアート」の第一人者。名古屋芸術大学教授。
Originally from Aichi Prefecture, the artist completed a Master’s degree in Casting at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Widely recognized as a leading figure in the field of medal art in Japan, the artist is also a professor at Nagoya University of the Arts.
