ARTIST INFORMATION

1964年生まれ。群馬県出身。東京藝術大学美術研究科修了。1988年兵藤忠明とH et H（アッシュエアッシュ）を結成。自身の写真を使った大型インスタレーションなどから始まり、プロジェクトf450と呼ばれる現物とデジタルの世界を交錯する、知性とウィットに富んだ作品を多く発表している。

Born in 1964 in Gunma Prefecture, Japan, the artist completed a master’s degree at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1988, he co-founded H et H with Tadaaki Hyodo. Beginning with large-scale installations incorporating his own photographs, he has since produced numerous works under the project f450, which ingeniously intersect the physical and digital worlds, distinguished by their intellectual depth and wit.
