I continue to create works with the theme of “forest” using metal casting techniques(Lost-wax).
The soft texture of wax and MANE (sand and clay) , the metallic luster of branches and leaves glistening in the sun, and the patina of the rich blue color express “forest”.
There are several reasons why I create my cast metal forest artworks. One of them is to contemplate the positive and negative history, the existence of life and death, and even the contradictions inherent in the relationship between forests and human, and to confront things that repeat themselves while only the surface changes, but the essence remains unchanged.
