パク・ブウォン先生は1960年代、伝承陶磁の道を歩み始め、今日まで韓国伝統伝承陶磁界の元老として韓国陶磁の精神を継承し、新しい伝統を開拓してきた。 池塘パク・ブウォン先生は70年代に桃源窯を設立して以来、日本と韓国、アメリカを舞台に多数の展示会を開催するなど活発な作品活動を通じて韓国伝統陶磁の美しさを知らせてきた。 パク・ブウォン先生の代表作である現代化された白磁は清らかで素朴な風流の一端を現代人の日常空間に伝えてくれる。
Park Bu-won began his career in traditional ceramics in the 1960s, and has continued the spirit of Korean ceramics and pioneered new traditions as an elder in the traditional ceramic world. Park Bu-won has been promoting the beauty of traditional Korean ceramics through his active work activities, including holding numerous exhibitions in Japan, Korea, and the United States since establishing the Taogen Kiln in the 1970s. Park Bu-won’s masterpiece, modernized white porcelain, conveys a part of the pure and simple taste to the everyday space of modern people.
