ARTIST INFORMATION
1979年京都芸術大学卒。クレイワークを学ぶ。 1988年、アトリエを和歌山市に移転。
彼女は素材からのメッセージを感じており、時を超えた生命力と出会う。自然の摂理とその深い哲学を通して自分の世界を伝えている。杉を使用し、それを天然素材で黒く染める。単にスキルやテクニックに焦点を合わせるのではなく、素材の力と固有の可能性を表現する。
難波高島屋での個展や、世界中の多くのアートフェアなどで展示。
1979 B.A of Kyoto University of Art. Studied clay work under prof.Kazuo Yagui.
1988 moved the atelier to Wakayama city.
She feels the message from the material and it’s her pleasure to meet its power and vitality over time. she wants to convey her world through nature’s providence and its deep philosophy. Using cedar, it is dyed black with natural materials.it has always been her intent to express the power and inherent possibilities of the materials rather than just focus on skill and technique.
Exhibited at solo exhibitions at Namba Takashimaya and at many art fairs around the world.
