ARTIST INFORMATION
1965年大阪府生まれ。
1981年に洋画を学び始める。1985年から書・篆刻を学ぶ。その後、絵画・篆刻ともに公募展やコンクールに出品。篆刻作品は海外を中心に発表し1987年にはイギリスで開催された世界総合芸術展でグランプリを受賞。2003年には中国・桂林市の中日友好書法碑林館に書作品の石碑が建立された。2004年に篆刻作品「山花水鳥皆知己」がイギリス・大英博物館に収蔵。2017年より絵画と篆刻を融合させた「 刻み 」をシステマギャラリーにて発表し、日本や世界中のアートフェアで展示を行う。
Born in Osaka in 1965.
Started studying Western painting in 1981. Learned calligraphy and seal carving from 1985.Both paintings and seal carvings were exhibited at public exhibitions and competitions. His work was announced mainly overseas and won the Grand Prix at the World Comprehensive Art Exhibition held in England in 1987. In 2003, a stone monument for calligraphy was erected at the China-Japan Friendship Calligraphy Beilin Museum in Guilin, China. In 2004, the engraved work “Sanka Mizutori Minami” was stored in the British Museum in England. From 2017, he will present “Koki”, which is a fusion of painting and seal carving, at the Systema Gallery, and will exhibit it at art fairs in Japan and around the world.
