About exhibited works

At this year’s KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa 2020 “Online Viewing Room”, Gallery LVS & Craft is pleased to share the images of craft works, which are done by internationally renowned artists such as Ernst Gamperl, Bodil Manz, Sylvie Enjalbert, and Yeonsoon Chang. Each artist who is from different countries achieves the beauty through their unique techniques, concepts, and materials. Ernst Gamperl and Sylvie Enjalbert seek natural beauty in their works through interacting with naturally fallen trees and exposing the soil without using glaze, respectively. Bodil Manz and Yeonsoon Chang’s works compact the artists’ researches on history and oriental philosophy(Zen) in simple geometric shapes.
KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa 2020 “Online Viewing Room” will be held on November 13 to December 18. In this online exhibition, Gallery LVS & Craft looks forward to share the images of these flamboyant artists’ works in order to show new direction of contemporary crafts.

Gallery concept

Gallery LVS & Craft exhibits and represents modern and contemporary art and craft through active engagement with both local Korean and international scenes. Gallery LVS & Craft was one of the first galleries to represent Korean contemporary craft artists, and organised the first solo exhibitions of prominent artists such as Ernst Gamperl, Jennifer Lee and Bodil Manz in South Korea.
