工芸は時代の生活様式や感情を反映し、素材・イメージ・造形が一体となった多様な表現を持つ。芦屋画廊kyotoでは、展示全体を通じて工芸の枠を超えた現代アートへの気づきのきっかけを提供することを目指している。工芸への興味を深めるだけでなく、他分野への視点を広げることで、訪れるコレクターの皆様のコレクションがより豊かに発展する一助となることを願っている。
ギャラリーコンセプト
兵庫県芦屋で1999年に企画画廊として開廊。芸術性の高いアート作品を届け、芸術ある生活空間を提案。2016年7月より京都に移転。日本というアイデンティティーを最大限に感じる事のできる環境で現代アートを中心に、専属インテリアプランナーを有し、常にアートと生活空間との調和を考慮したアートコーディネートを主眼に個人住宅のみならずパブリックスペースまで手掛け、国際的に活動。また、総合的キュレーションのできる画廊として公共施設等での展覧会の企画制作も行う。

About exhibited works
Craft reflects the lifestyle and emotions of its era, offering diverse expressions that integrate material, imagery, and form. ASHIYAGARO kyoto aims to provide a catalyst for discovering contemporary art beyond the traditional boundaries of craft through this entire exhibition. We hope this will not only deepen interest in craft but also broaden perspectives into other artistic disciplines, ultimately helping our visiting collectors enrich and expand their collections.
Gallery concept
We have a professional interior planner with a focus on contemporary art in an environment where you can feel the identity of Japan to the fullest, and is active internationally not only in private residences but also in public spaces, with a focus on art coordination that always considers the harmony between art and living spaces. In addition, as an art gallery capable of comprehensive curation, we also plan and produce exhibitions at public facilities.
