刺繍を生かして制作する中で、針と糸が女性の歴史や社会的背景に深く根付いている事に気づき、現代美術の中で新たな価値へと昇華する活動を続けています。
刺繍は単なる「手仕事」ではなく、過去と未来を繋ぐ大切な表現手段です。
テーマは「心のいたみやおそれ」。そこから解放される美しい造形を目指します。

In the process of making the full use of embroidery, I have realized that the needle and thread are deeply rooted in women’s history and social backgrounds, and I continue to work to sublimate them into a new value in contemporary art.
Embroidery is not just a “handwork” but an important means of expression that connects the past and the future.
The theme is “heartache and fear. ” I seek to create beautiful artworks that may free us from these fears.
