鄭宇宏は、書法の象形文字を創作の基盤として、構築と解体を通して独特の記号を生み出します。これらの文字コードが生成されると、古代の物語が創り上げられ、大地と文字の起源を描き出します。彼は東洋の人文精神を豊かで超現実的な絵画に組み込み、近似した落書きの手法を用いて、現代の書法表現方法に何度も挑戦します。同時に、伝統的な書藝の教養と概念に依拠し、漢字の美学を最大限に引き出し、遊び心豊かに再創造します。
Born in 1990 in Kaohsiung.
Cheng Yu-Hung uses the ideographic characters of calligraphy as the basis of his creations, constructing and deconstructing to create unique symbols. These character codes give birth to fictional ancient stories, narrating the origin of the earth and characters, blending the spirit of the East into rich and surreal images. He presents them with a graffiti-like technique, challenging contemporary calligraphy expressions time and again. Simultaneously, he draws upon the nurturing and concepts of traditional calligraphy, maximizing the aesthetics of Chinese characters through playful re-creation.
