ARTIST INFORMATION
1989年山形県生まれ。2011年に東北芸術工科大学を卒業後、陶芸家・高橋廣道氏に師事。陶製の自在置物の制作している。2019年、第25回日本陶芸展入選。以降、茨城県陶芸美術館での企画展や個展、百貨店催事などで作品を発表。BSフジ「ブレイク前夜」出演、『月刊美術』『炎芸術』掲載のほか、『陶で作るいきもの造形』（阿部出版）にも作品が紹介されるなど、陶芸による生きもの表現をテーマに活動を続けている。
Yuki Okamura (b. 1989, Yamagata, Japan) graduated from Tohoku University of Art and Design in 2011 and subsequently trained under ceramic artist Hiromichi Takahashi. He specializes in creating jizai okimono—articulated sculptures—using ceramic materials.
In 2019, his work was selected for the 25th Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition. Since then, he has exhibited in museum exhibitions, solo shows, and department-store art events, including presentations at the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum. His work has also been featured on the television program Break Zenya (BS Fuji), in the art magazines Gekkan Bijutsu and Honoo Geijutsu, and in the book Creature Modeling in Clay (Abe Publishing). Through ceramic sculpture, he continues to explore and express the forms and vitality of living creatures.
