漆とガラスの関係性を模索するなかで、磨りガラスの表面に漆を塗るとその部分が透明に透けることを発見し、現在はその現象を利用し、磨りガラスの胎に漆絵や蒔絵をほどこし重層的な加飾表現を行っている。

- Moved her studio to Tsumagoi Village, Gunma,, where she is currently working.
While exploring the relationship between lacquer and glass, she discovered that applying lacquer to the surface of frosted glass makes that area appear transparent. She now utilizes this phenomenon to create multi-layered decorative expressions by applying lacquer paintings and maki-e (gold/silver powder inlay) to a base of frosted glass.
