赤い唇を人間の欲望、生命力、複雑な感情の象徴とし、刹那的な化粧と永続的な漆を組み合わせ、一時的な美と普遍的な人間性を表現。美しさの裏に潜む狂気や葛藤といった、必ずしも美しくない人間の本質を探求する。表面的な美を超え、矛盾する感情や規範から逸脱する欲望にも目を向け、多面的な人間存在を深く考察する。

Viewing red lips as a symbol of human desire, vitality, and complex emotions, Sotome combines ephemeral makeup with enduring lacquer to express transient beauty and universal humanity. She explores the essence of humanity, which is not always beautiful; such as the madness and inner conflict lurking behind beauty. Going beyond superficial beauty, she also focuses on conflicting emotions and desires that deviate from social norms, offering a profound examination of the multifaceted human condition.
