出品作品について
ガラス工芸の若手作家で注目される加藤千佳の作品を、個展形式で展開します。
用の美だけでなく、鑑賞の美が評価される現代の工芸において、技法開発を行うことで、表現の幅を広げる加藤千佳。
自然界の現象とその痕跡、絶え間なく動き続ける一瞬を具現化し、無機質なものに命を宿す。
「窓ガラスに模様する霜」のように、一定の条件下でしか存在できない水の現象を、ガラスの中に閉じ込めた、儚く美しい作品たちをご紹介いたします。
ギャラリーコンセプト
神戸の地で開廊して半世紀以上。
時代に流されることなく、常に名品をご紹介する事を目的としています。
また、近年ではアートフェアの立ち上げ、国内外アートフェアなどにも出展。
才能ある若手作家の発掘・支援に力を注いでいます。
「人生は短く 芸術は永し Art is long, life is short.」の諺の如く、皆様の心に響く芸術作品を、後世に残していくことが使命です。
皆様の心に寄り添う、唯一無二の作品との出会いの場となれば幸いです。

About exhibited works
We holds private exhibition of Kato Chika's works, whose watched by an author of the young people of glass arts and crafts.
In the present-day arts and crafts by which beauty of enjoyment as well as beauty of business is estimated, she develop her technique to glass arts and crafts, and expand her width of the expression.
She embody phenomenon of the natural world and the trace, the moment which keeps moving hourly, in her works.
And, the life lodges at something mineral matter by her.
She shuts phenomenon in the glass, those of the water which can exist only under the fixed condition.
We'll introduce her works, which is beautiful transiently, like the frost which makes the design a windowpane.
Gallery concept
Kawata Gallery start the business in Kobe, and, more than half a century.
We’re having for our object always to introduce a masterpiece, without being let run at the time.
In recent years, we participated in a domestic and abroad art fair aggressively, and started an art fair personally.
We also strive to discover promising young artists.
“Art is long, life is short.”as it is a proverb, it's the mission that we pass the artworks everybody appeals down the generations.
We should be very much obliged if it be a place by the encounter with the one and only work which nestles close to everybody's heart.
