ギャラリーコンセプト
お膳として、給仕用の脇引として、日々様々な場面で用いられる「お盆」。一枚のお盆だけを置くだけで、空間を仕切り、場を作るという点では非常に重要な道具の一つと言えるでしょう。今回の展示ではお盆を用いた工芸の取り合わせをテーマに作品をご紹介致します。「盆中」という小さな空間の中で、自由な発想で工芸を愉しみ、新たな「天地」を見つけて戴ければ幸いです。
Gallery concept
“Obon (Tray)” – You can see in various scenes used as a personal table, as a serving tray, and so on. It has important role to divide a space like a screen by placing a tray with precise attention. In this exhibition, we will be presenting samples of coordination of trays with artisans' works. You might find another new world in a little tray, like the vase of an old Chinese myth. We would be pleased if you enjoy it with imagination and thinking outside of the box.
