工芸特有の素材がもつ潜在的な力が、造形の方向にまで大きな影響を及ぼす事に魅力を感じます。古来、五大元素が宇宙を構成するという思想があったように、鉱物、植物、水、火、大気、を操る工芸作家達は無から有を生じさせる錬金術師のようにも思えてなりません。金工の坂井は交差する線が美しい作品を、漆の百瀬は未知の生物か新種の植物のような生命力溢れる作品、陶の堀は曇りない白磁に命を宿す試みの作品を展示いたします。
