Gallery concept
Our space will consist of 5 artists. Soonran Youn visualizes the insights into our lives through the theme ‘Breathing hole’. Younghye Kim presents the three-dimensional drawing with ‘body and clothes’. Minseok Han will show handmade wall clock ‘Bamboo’ by his signature technique. Youngae Choo presents her two dimensional artworks by using old clothes and applique called ‘Linked Space’. Lastly, Hwajin Oh will show gorgeous clutch bag.
We will show about 15artworks (3works per artist).
Through these five Korean crafts and their two-three dimensional works, one can see the evolution of Korean textile and metal craft.
