地平のように大きく豪胆な盆である。縁は麻紐を幾重にも巻いて漆で固めた。曖昧な境界線が盤面を横切っているようにみえ、ドリッピングされた下地粉が大きくクロスを象る。分割と交差の象徴が共存しているようにもみえる。漆によって強調された杉の木目のストライプはそれら象徴の背景としてリズミカルに全体の調子を支えている。

As the title suggests, it is a large and bold tray. The rim was made by stacking hemp strings and hardening with lacquer. An ambiguous border appears to cross the board, and the dripping ground powder forms a large cross. It seems that the symbols of division and intersection coexist. The grain of cryptomeria japonica is emphasized by lacquer and becomes a background of rhythmic stripes, supporting those symbols.
