コンセプト
本作のオオカミはパワーショルダーと開いた指先から分かりやすい強さをアピールしている。一方の羊からは知性に満ちた目と安定した佇まいで静かな強さを感じられる。また、2匹はそれぞれの違いを活かして良いパートナーになっている。強さとは何かを考えるきっかけをくれる作品。
プロフィール
多摩美術大学美術学部絵画学科油画専攻 卒業。国内ギャラリー個展、グループ展、アートフェアに多数出品。
在学中に桐の粉と糊を合わせた木の粘土に出会う。以降、主に桐塑を用いて人間臭い仕草の動物をモチーフに制作を続ける。Concept
The wolf of this work appeals its strength that is easy to understand from the power shoulder and open fingertips. On the other hand from sheep you can feel the intelligent eyes, stable appearance and quiet strength. A work that gives you an opportunity to think about what strength is.
Profile
Graduated from Tama Art University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Oil Painting.
While in college, she encounters wooden clay made from Paulownia powder and glue.
Since then, she has continued to produce animals with human-like gestures, mainly using Paulownia plastic.
