コンセプト
私の作品制作は、初めは身の回りにある簡単な面白い形が元にはなっていますが、制作するたびに展開・変化していき、元の形は殆どありません。ここ数年来制作している作品『炻器壷』も工房にある土練機（土を練る機械）から出てきた土を半分に折った形が元になっています。それをパイプ状に繋ぐように色々な形にしてみる所から始まり、そのパイプにエッジをつけたり、編み込むように重ねたりしてこの作品が出来るに至っています。

When I try to make a new original ceramic work, I have been always inspired by some simple and interesting shaped things surrounded around me at the first step. However, when I try to proceed making some another similar new works, my work(s) is getting developed and changed itself, and there will not be quite same shape of original one. “Sekki Vase” that I have been making in a recent few years is from the basis of shape bended cray half which is the cray from the working machine for cray at my studio. I start making various kind of shape binding crays like pipes, and make an edge on the piped shape cray, also try to weave, and pile up them. After doing some kind of trials, I can finally finish up the new original work, “Sekki Vase”.
