コンセプト
自然界に存在する、連続して密集している形態への関心や憧憬が形となって表れているような感覚がある。地球が生んだ粘土と、私の精神や肉体が、ちょうど交わったところで、自らの内側、臓器、または心、意識が、焼き物を通して目の前に現れる。これは、人の目が気になることとあるがままで生きたいこととの間で揺れる葛藤であり、いつか消えてしまうけど今を生きている私が、排泄して構成した、命の塊である。

I feel that my fascination towards the natural world’s use of repetition and clusters appears in my work as I consume and absorb the world around me. When I mould clay I have a sensation that my body and consciousness blends and binds with the material and the natural world. I use a repetitive process to convey my thoughts into the texture, such as my struggle of swaying between the desires to live freely and falling under the pressure from societal expectations. These thoughts and emotions are absorbed into the clay and my piece is produced.
