穴人（あなじん）の名のもと信楽の地で土と向き合い続ける陶芸家・篠原希。
磁器土の色に魅了され、てびねりの温かさで愛らしい生き物を生み出す陶芸家・鷲見茜。
粘土を用いた細密な造形でひとつの作品に存在感を宿す造形作家・DAIGO。
独自に調合をした墨とその滲みまでも自身の心と想いを込めて制作する書家・名方亜希。
水面を眺めるかのような、視覚化された音と景色とを色墨で瑞々しく描く画家・藤井健司。和田画廊は以上５名の作家を展示いたします。
ギャラリーコンセプト
和⽥画廊は2002年に東京・⼋重洲にて開廊。19年より銀座に拠点を移す。⽇本画・洋画・彫刻・版画・写真など幅広い展覧会を開催し、国内外問わず作品を取り扱うコンテンポラリーアートのギャラリー。2008年アートシンガポールへの出展を皮切りに、シカゴ、パリ、韓国、台湾などの国際的なアートフェアに多数参加。2022年12月には銀座に新たなスペースをオープンし、新進気鋭のアーティストを支えるためのレジデンスを運営している。

About exhibited works
Wada Garou Tokyo is proud to present five artists, Nozomi Shinohara, Akane Sumi, DAIGO, Aki Nakata, and Kenji Fujii.
Nozomi Shinohara, a ceramic artist who confronts with clay in Shigaraki under the name of ""Anajin.
Akane Sumi, a ceramic artist, is fascinated by the colors of porcelain clay and creates lovely creatures with the warmth of her hand-weaving.
DAIGO, a sculptor who gives each piece a unique presence with his detailed modeling using clay.
Calligrapher Aki NAKATA, who creates works by putting her own heart and feelings into the ink and its blotches that she mixes uniquely.
Kenji Fujii, a painter who draws freshly in colored ink, visualizing sounds and scenery as if he were gazing at the surface of water.
Gallery concept
Wada Garou Tokyo is a contemporary gallery opened in 2002 in Yaesu and moved to Ginza in 2019. We constantly present exhibitions with a diverse selection of Japanese and international paintings, ceramics, sculptures, prints and photography. After participating to Art Singapore in 2008, we have exhibited in numerous international art fairs in Chicago, Paris, Korea and Taiwan, presenting works by artists of various period. On December 2022, we extended the space two doors next to the gallery, we provide residence for emerging artists to support their passion.
