ARTIST INFORMATION
1963年東京生まれ。83年早稲田大学第二文学部入学。同年に家業の取締役に就任したのち、同大学を88年に中退。幼少期より水彩画を習い、芸術家を志すが実業家である両親の反対に遭い断念。98年より粘土造形を独学で始め、現在まで本業の傍ら制作を続ける。
Entered the Second Department of Literature of Waseda University in 1983. After becoming a board member of his family’s business in the same year, he dropped out of the university in 1988. Started learning watercolor painting as a child and aspired to become an artist, but abandoned the desire due to opposition from his parents. Since 1988, he has been self-taught in clay modeling and has continued to create works alongside his day job.
