ARTIST INFORMATION

1948年フランス、プレムリー生まれ。エコール・ブールで内装建築を学び、家具デザイン入賞。

1976年初個展の開催以来、フランス国内および海外で約40回の展覧会を開催。

いくつかの作品は、公的機関および個人のコレクションに収蔵されている。

絵画や舞台美術で活躍し、映画・演劇・ダンス・オペラの舞台美術も手がける。

現在、パリ・ニエーヴルを拠点に活動。2003年、芸術文化勲章シュヴァリエ受章。

Born in 1948 in Premery, France.

Studied interior architecture at École Boulle, where he received an award for furniture design.

Since his first solo exhibition in 1976, he has held about forty exhibitions in France and abroad.

Several of his works are included in public and private collections.

Active in both painting and stage design, he has also created set designs for films, theater, dance, and opera.

He currently lives and works between Paris and Nièvre. In 2003, he was awarded the title of Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters.
