ARTIST INFORMATION
1948年フランス、プレムリー生まれ。エコール・ブールで内装建築を学び、家具デザイン入賞。絵画や舞台美術で活躍し、映画・演劇・ダンス・オペラの舞台美術も手がける。近年は家具彫刻作品を制作し、パリ・ニエーヴルを拠点に活動。2003年、芸術文化勲章シュヴァリエ受章。
Born in 1948 in Prémery, France. studied Interior Architecture at École Boulle and won a furniture design competition. Works in painting and scenography for theater, opera, dance, and film. Recently creates unique furniture-sculptures, working between Paris and Nièvre. Named Chevalier of Arts and Letters in 2003.
