ARTIST INFORMATION
2003年東京芸術大学大学院鋳金専攻修了後、インドネシアで彫刻とロストワックス鋳造を学びました。私の制作の中心は鋳造プロセスそのものであり、儚く一時的な存在をブロンズという永続的な素材へ転換する点に尽きない魅力を感じ、探求しています。制作は、意図と素材・技術間の対話や交渉であり、この相互作用を経て作品は完成します。単なる意味やメッセージを超えて、それ自体が確かな存在感を放つ作品を目指しています。
After completing my Master’s degree in Metal Casting at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2003, I went to Indonesia to further my knowledge of sculpture and lost-wax casting.The casting process itself is central to my artistic practice. I am endlessly fascinated by and dedicated to exploring the transformation of ephemeral and temporary forms into bronze, an enduring material. My creative process is a dialogue and negotiation between my intentions, the materials, and the techniques. It is through this interplay that the artwork takes its final form.I aim to create works that transcend mere meaning or messages, pieces that emanate a tangible presence of their own.
