Daisuke Enomoto is a contemporary artist who gives “form” to the thought and traces of time that arise from the “body” and the “mind.” Bringing these forms to various sites, he unfolds them within space as installation or as part of process art. Rather than deliberate creation with conventional art materials, he works with what “comes into being” through everyday life, transforming it into narratives whose backgrounds cannot be summed up in a single word. Through art, the viewer touches the essence of the act of expression—crossing boundaries, calling forth new acts of creation, and confronting the meaning of existence. Through this ongoing practice, he attempts to give concrete form to concepts and to explore the truths of living in contemporary society.
