自然風景のなかで見つけたかたちや動きをもとに、染色技法を用いて心象風景を描く。 知覚した情報が人の心にひびくことと、布に染料を浸透させて染め描く行為は、「しみる」という現象を介して反映し合っていると考える。
I use dyeing techniques to depict mental landscapes based on the shapes and movements I find in natural landscapes. I believe that the perceived information that strikes people’s hearts and the act of dyeing and painting by penetrating dyes into cloth reflect each other through the phenomenon of “stinging”.
