ARTIST INFORMATION
1984年福島県生まれ、多摩美術大学工芸学科ガラス専攻卒業、Konstfack (国立芸術工芸デザイン大学、スウェーデン）修了 MFA 取得。現在スウェーデンを拠点にヨーロッパ、米国、日本各地で活動。代表作となるガラスの破片からなるドレス は、北欧に渡り生活や制作上での困難を感じる中より生まれた。自身をとりまく環境を行動と作品制作によって積極的に変えていく姿勢は、美しく繊細な作品の影にある、アーティストとしてのタフさを感じさせる。
Born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1984. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Crafts, Glass. Konstfack (National University of Arts and Crafts Design, Sweden) and obtained an MFA. Currently based in Sweden, she is active in Europe, the United States and Japan. The dress, which is made up of shards of glass, which is a representative work, was born from the feeling of difficulties in life and creation in Scandinavia. Her attitude of actively changing the environment around her through her actions and the creation of her works makes us feel the toughness of an artist behind her beautiful and delicate works.
