ARTIST INFORMATION
88年川崎に生まれる。14年東京藝術大学大学院保存修復日本画修士課程修了。
「世界は文様でできている」を標榜、現代の大和絵ともいうべき様式で人気を誇る。
作画は取材からCGによる多層レイヤー構成で、独特の抽象感を持つ日本画の構造を作り上げることに成功している。
様々な思考と技術の交錯によって作り出される親和感と違和感がせめぎ合う画面。森本の作品の力はそうした混沌が
軽やかにねじ伏せられている印象ではないだろうか。
Born in Kawasaki in 1988.
Completed the master’s course in Japanese painting for conservation and restoration at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2014.
Advocating “the world is made of patterns”, it is popular in a style that can be called modern Yamato-e.
Her drawing is a multi-layered composition by CG from the shooting, and succeeded in creating the structure of Japanese painting with a unique abstract feeling.
