小松 実紀

Miki Komatsu was born in Niigata in 1996. She received a B.A. from Akita University of Art in Creative Manufacturing Design in 2019. Currently, she studies at Tokyo University of the Arts, in the Graduate Ceramics and Glass Course. She represents human existence in her glass works. She feels the physical presence of human beings, such as their internal organs and blood, in the soft glass melted at high temperatures, as well as the human spiritual presence of delicateness and fragility of heart from the fragile glass that has cooled and hardened. She handles such glass as an act of confirming one’s own existence as a human being.
