本展示では、異なる素材を通じて現代の工芸を探求する4名の作家を紹介します。
書家・名方亜希は、感情とリズムを筆にのせ、現代的な構成で力強くも繊細な文字世界を描きます。
彫刻家・関口恵美は、果実や菓子のようなやわらかな形を楠から彫り出し、一瞬の幸せをとどめます。
森安音仁のガラス作品は、ガラスの糸を何層にも重ね、繊細に紡ぎ出された作品は雨の痕跡のような繊細な光を生み出します。
ガラス作家の保木詩衣吏は、雪どけや落葉など、移り変わる自然をモチーフに、消えていくものに対峙します。
ギャラリーコンセプト
和⽥画廊は2004年に東京・⼋重洲にて開廊。19年より銀座に拠点を移す。⽇本画・洋画・彫刻・版画・写真など幅広い展覧会を開催し、国内外問わず作品を取り扱うコンテンポラリーアートのギャラリー。2008年アートシンガポールへの出展を皮切りに、シカゴ、パリ、韓国、台湾などの国際的なアートフェアに多数参加。2022年12月には銀座に新たなスペースをオープンし、新進気鋭のアーティストを支えるためのレジデンスの運営や展覧会の企画をしている。

About exhibited works
This presentation features 4 artists whose practices embody contemporary Kogei through distinct materials.
Aki Nakata (calligraphy) conveys emotion and rhythm through refined brushwork rooted in tradition, creating compositions with modern clarity.
Emi Sekiguchi (sculpture) carves camphor wood into gentle forms—like fruit or sweets—preserving fleeting moments of happiness in warm, organic material.
Otohito Moriyasu (glass) layers fine filamented glass into translucent forms that trace the ephemeral impression of falling rain.
Glass artist Shiori Hoki uses motifs drawn from nature's ever-changing cycles—such as melting snow and falling leaves—to confront the fleeting nature of things.
Gallery concept
Wada Garou Tokyo is a contemporary gallery that opened in 2002 in Yaesu and moved to Ginza in 2019. We continuously present exhibitions with a diverse selection of Japanese and international paintings, ceramics, sculptures, prints and photography. After participating in Art Singapore in 2008, we have exhibited at numerous international art fairs in Chicago, Paris, Korea, Taiwan and more, presenting works by artists from various periods. In December 2022, we expanded the space two doors next to the gallery, we provide residence for emerging artists to support their passion and present the exhibition in the space.
