本展示では、異なる素材を通じて現代の工芸を探求する3名の作家を紹介します。
書家・名方亜希は、感情とリズムを筆にのせ、現代的な構成で力強くも繊細な文字世界を描きます。
彫刻家・関口恵美は、果実や菓子のようなやわらかな形を楠から彫り出し、一瞬の幸せをとどめます。
森安音仁のガラス作品は、ガラスの糸を何層にも重ね、繊細に紡ぎ出された作品は雨の痕跡のような繊細な光を生み出します。
異なる表現が響き合い、工芸の新たな可能性を静かに提示します。
ギャラリーコンセプト
和⽥画廊は2004年に東京・⼋重洲にて開廊。19年より銀座に拠点を移す。日本画、洋画、彫刻、版画、写真など多岐にわたるジャンルの展覧会を開催し、国内外の作品を取り扱うコンテンポラリーアートギャラリーです。2008年のアートシンガポールへの出展を皮切りに、シカゴ、パリ、韓国、台湾など、国際的なアートフェアにも多数参加。分野の垣根を越えて多様な作家の展覧会を企画・運営しています。

About exhibited works
This presentation features three artists whose practices embody contemporary Kogei through distinct materials.
Aki Nakata (calligraphy) conveys emotion and rhythm through refined brushwork rooted in tradition, creating compositions with modern clarity.
Emi Sekiguchi (sculpture) carves camphor wood into gentle forms—like fruit or sweets—preserving fleeting moments of happiness in warm, organic material.
Otohito Moriyasu (glass) layers fine filamented glass into translucent forms that trace the ephemeral impression of falling rain.
Together, their works reflect personal interpretations of form, memory, and tradition—revealing how today’s Kogei continues to evolve with sensitivity and depth.
Gallery concept
Wada Garou opened in Yaesu, Tokyo in 2004 and relocated to Ginza in 2019. As a contemporary art gallery, we present exhibitions across a wide range of genres—including Japanese painting, Western painting, sculpture, printmaking, and photography—and handle works by artists from both Japan and abroad. Since our first participation in Art Singapore in 2008, we have taken part in numerous international art fairs in cities such as Chicago, Paris, Seoul, and Taipei. We actively plan and organize exhibitions that transcend boundaries between artistic fields, showcasing a diverse range of artists.
