出品作品について
TARO NASUはKAFK2026にて、昨年に続き、純粋芸術と工芸、それぞれの領域を横断する作品群を紹介します。展示では、田島美加によるガラス彫刻、中井波花による陶芸作品の最新作をはじめ、日用品から着想を得たRyan Ganderの作品、既製品や機械織の毛織物を取り入れたJonathan Monkの作品を展示予定です。また、Benoît Piéronによる、小児病棟で実際に使用されていたシーツを用いた、ぬいぐるみ状の立体作品や椅子、ランプなどの家具作品も紹介します。
ギャラリーコンセプト
1998年開廊。2019年より六本木に移転、現在に至る。
池田亮司、榎本耕一、田島美加、松江泰治、ホンマタカシ、春木麻衣子らをはじめとした新進気鋭の日本人作家、また国際的に評価の高いローレンス・ウィナーやピエール・ユイグ、リアム・ギリック、ライアン・ガンダー、サイモン・フジワラといった海外作家など、リアルライフと調和しつつ同時に見る人の価値観を一新するような国内外のコンセプチュアルな作家を中心に扱っている。

About exhibited works
TARO NASU will present a group of works that traverse the boundaries between fine art and craft at KAFK2026, following last year’s presentation. The booth will feature glass sculptures by Mika Tajima, new ceramic works by Namika Nakai, works inspired by everyday objects by Ryan Gander, and works incorporating readymades and machine-woven wool textiles by Jonathan Monk. Also on view will be plush-like sculptures, chairs, and lamps by Benoît Piéron, created using sheets formerly used in pediatric hospital wards.
Gallery concept
Established in 1998. In 2019, moved to current gallery space in Roppongi.
TARO NASU has devoted to explore the contemporary art after 80’s as ”the very intriguing experience”, mainly working with conceptual artists such as Lawrence Weiner, Pierre Huyghe, Liam Gillick, Ryan Gander and Simon Fujiwara. TARO NASU also represents many of Japanese contemporary artists as Mika Tajima, Ryoji Ikeda, and photographers like Takashi Homma, Taiji Matsue and Maiko Haruki.
