本展覧会では5名の作家を紹介する。ぬくもりの感じられるフォルムと滑らかな質感のなかにふわりとした浮遊感と凛とした造形美をもつ生嶋花、軽さと重さ、確かさと不確かさが共存しているような素材のかたちや特性を活かし心地の良い緊張感と安心感のある造形作品をつくる北林加奈子、猫と共に暮らし膠彩で猫を描く台湾の画家チン・ぺイイ、ふっくらと柔らかく包み込むようなかたちと滑らかな肌理が観るものの意識の奥深くに入り込むような存在感を持つ波多腰彩花、ガラスを用いて有機的立体を展開するMay Masutani。個性あふれる作品世界をお楽しみください。

ギャラリーコンセプト

秋華洞は2003年に銀座にオープンし、古美術から近代そして現代の日本美術を取り扱い、美術品に宿る色褪せることのない本質的な価値を見出し、新たな時代へと引き継いできました。そして、2022年に原宿・神宮前に戦後の美術からコンテンポラリーアートまでを取り扱うGALLERY SCENA(ギャラリーセナ)をオープンし、国内外の優れたアーティストを紹介しています。

About exhibited works

"This exhibition features five artists.Ikushima Hana creates works with a sense of warmth and smooth textures, imbued with a gentle floating quality and a refined sculptural beauty.
Kanako Kitabayashi crafts forms that embody both lightness and weight, certainty and ambiguity, utilizing the inherent characteristics of her materials to create sculptures that hold a pleasant sense of tension and comfort.
Chen Pei-Yi, a painter from Taiwan who lives with cats, portrays them in nikuhitsu (traditional glue painting), capturing their presence with deep affection.
Ayaka Hatakoshi creates soft, rounded forms and smooth surfaces that seem to gently embrace the viewer, leaving a deep and quiet impression on one’s consciousness.
May Masutani explores organic three-dimensional forms using glass, developing fluid and expressive sculptural works.We hope you enjoy the unique and expressive worlds of each of these artists."
