ARTIST INFORMATION
大阪芸術大学大学院前期課程工芸領域修了。2013年より綴織技法を主とした制作方法と日用品を組み合わせた立体作品の制作を開始。現在は糸を織る・縫う手法によって生じるテクスチャーと愛着のある眼鏡を組み合わせ、着用可能な「眼鏡マスク」や、生物のような眼鏡の立体「めがねっこ」のシリーズ等を中心に制作する。2016、2018、2020、2021年に大阪と京都で個展開催。その他企画展等多数出展。
She completed her Master’s course in Crafts at Osaka University of Arts Graduate School. Since 2013, she has been creating three-dimensional works combining tapestry weaving techniques with everyday objects. Currently, she mainly creates wearable “glasses masks” and the “Megane-ko” series, which are three-dimensional glasses that resemble living creatures, by combining the textures created by weaving and sewing with beloved eyeglasses. She held solo exhibitions in Osaka and Kyoto in 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2021. She has also exhibited in numerous other group exhibitions.
