Lee Min Soo

Lee Minsoo studied ceramic craft at Seoul National University, where he also completed his MFA.
His work focuses on the structural qualities of clay and the compositional potential of color, employing a technique of layering different colored clays and slicing through them to reveal their cross-sections.
His representative Cylinders series encapsulates layers and order within simple forms, exploring the sculptural possibilities of contemporary ceramics where structure and sensibility coexist.
