沖縄の伝説的な陶芸家。沖縄の土にこだわり、高温度の焼成による焼〆や珊瑚を用いた器、立体作品などを制作。沖縄、そして自身の原点を探るかのような、独特な作品に挑んだ。
The Legendary artist of Okinawa. Deeply devoted to the native clay of Okinawa, Seisho Kuniyoshi created high-fired yakishime (unglazed ceramics), as well as vessels and sculptural works incorporating natural coral. His distinctive creations represent a bold artistic challenge—a profound exploration into his own roots and the primordial origins of Okinawa itself.
