ARTIST INFORMATION
1996 年タイ生まれ。2019 年より奈良を拠点に活動をはじめる。陶芸による器物やそれらを用いたインスタレーション作品などを制作。自身のルーツに基づいた視点を用いて、今日の陶芸領域に内在する〈工芸とアート〉の対比をテーマとしての表現を行う。また、そこから派生し、現代の〈多様式化した価値観〉より生じるアンビバレントな感覚を扱う。
Born in Thailand in 1996. Began working in Nara in 2019. Creates ceramic vessels as well as installation works incorporating these objects. Drawing on perspectives rooted in their own background, their practice explores the contrast between “craft” and “art” inherent in contemporary ceramics. Furthermore, their work extends to addressing the ambivalent sensibilities that arise from today’s increasingly diverse and pluralistic values.
