2020年に名古屋造形大学彫刻コースを卒業した森正氏は、現在愛知県瀬戸市を拠点に陶芸での制作を行っている。作品は「ロボット」としてパーツの組み合わせで作り上げられながらも、有機的で感情があるかのような佇まいで、複雑なギミックから繰り出される一撃必殺の力を蓄えているようだ。1体10〜15cmほどのフィギュアサイズが無数に並ぶとロボットが軍を成しているように見え未来的な印象を与える一方で、現在は人間の等身大サイズや壁掛け型を検討しており、作品形態も柔軟に模索し続けている。
Kyoichi Morimasa, who graduated from the sculpture course at Nagoya Zokei University in 2020, is currently based in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, where he works in ceramics. His works are “robots” made up of a combination of parts, yet they look organismic and emotional, as if they are storing up the power to kill with a single blow from a complex gimmick. When countless figures of 10-15 cm each are lined up in a row, they look like an army of robots and give a futuristic impression, on the other hand, he is currently considering life-size human figures and wall-mounted models, and continues to flexibly explore other forms of artwork.
