武蔵野の里山を感じる樹木・草木・野の花、時間のうつろいを主題に一貫して彫金での制作を継続している。
また「騎西屋」名義で帯留や簪などの装身具で和装業界でも広く活動している。

Mayumi Sekiguchi has been consistently creating metal engraving works in botanical themes; trees, plants, wildflowers that reveals the passage of time. Her artworks remind us of the satoyama of Musashino.
She is also widely popular in the Japanese kimono market for her obidome, hairpins, and other accessories under the name “Kisaiya”.
