ARTIST INFORMATION

1993: 三重県熊野市生まれ
2016: 名古屋芸術大学美術学部美術学科工芸領域陶芸コース卒業
: 現在は、愛知県瀬戸市・岐阜県多治見市を制作拠点として活動。

自身のバックグラウンドを起点とした「自己に内在する感覚やあらゆるイメージ」を紐解く中で、様々な表現の展開を試みる。また作品の代表的なカラーともいえる淡い翡翠色を放つ釉薬は、故郷熊野で産出される那智黒石を調合することで生まれ、自身のやきもの表現において多く用いられている。

: Base in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture and Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

Starting from his own background, he tries to develop various expressions while unraveling the “feelings and images that are inherent in himself”. In addition, the pale jade glaze, which can be said to be the representative color of his work, was created by mixing Nachi black stone “NACHIGUROISHI” produced in his hometown Kumano, and is often used in his own pottery expression.
