Miyuki Kinoshita inspires geometric patterns from various phenomena and landscapes, and expresses them in boxes and vessels using mother-of-pearl inlay, maki-e, and variegated lacquer. By replacing inorganic sequential patterns with materials such as lacquer and mother-of-pearl inlays, she creates organic and beautiful expressions.
