ARTIST INFORMATION
1977年兵庫県加東市生まれ。2001年大阪芸術大学工芸学科陶芸コース卒業、2003年多治見市陶磁器意匠研究所修了。作品はボストン美術館、V&A美術館などに収蔵。2023年タカシマヤ文化基金美術賞受賞。同年、兵庫陶芸美術館にて個展「竹内紘三展 -Recollection-」開催。
Born in 1977 in Hyogo, Japan.
Graduated from Osaka University of Arts, Ceramics Course (2001), and Tajimi City Pottery Design and Technical Center (2003).
His works are held in public collections including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Victoria and Albert Museum, London; Musée Cernuschi, Paris; Anadolu University Museum, Turkey; The Museum of Ceramic Art, Hyogo; and Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum.
In 2023, he received the 33rd Takashimaya Culture Foundation Art Prize.
From December 2023 to February 2024, he held a solo exhibition, Recollection, at The Museum of Ceramic Art, Hyogo.
