砥部焼の産地である愛媛県に生まれ、幼少期より焼き物のあるまちで育つ。
学生時代にダンスと出会い、ストリートカルチャーに興味を持つ。
陶という素材をもって、グラフィティやダンスなどのストリートカルチャーが持つ身体的なエネルギーや刹那的な衝動を造形として表出させる試みを行っている。また、陶芸の技法や釉薬などを積層させることで、ストリートカルチャーが持つレイヤーの重なりや時間の流れを表現している。
また、流行やライフスタイルが急速に変化していく現代社会において、自分が生きてきた「今」という時代を不変の素材である陶に落とし込み、形として残すことで時代の痕跡として作品を提示している
