ARTIST INFORMATION
孟舒は、マカオ在住の現代アーティスト、キュレーター、学者です。1997年に中国美術学院に入学し、2005年に南京芸術学院で美術学士号、2008年に中国美術学院で修士号、そして2016年に博士号を取得しました。2008年から2021年まで、彼女はマカオの複数の大学で教鞭をとりました。現在、マカオの鏡湖看護学院で准教授を務めています。
孟舒のアートは、現代の吹きガラス作品で知られており、繊細な素材をインパクトのあるメッセージに変える才能を示しています。彼女の作品は、50以上の国際的および国内のアート展示会で展示され、中国および国際的な著名な機関で恒久的に展示されています。
Dr. Meng Shu, born in 1982, is a resident of Macau and a contemporary artist, curator, and scholar. She began her education at the China Academy of Art in 1997 and later earned her Bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University of the Arts in 2005, followed by a Master’s degree in 2008 and a Ph.D. in 2016 from the China Academy of Art. From 2008 to 2021, she taught at various universities in Macau, held the position of Artistic Director at No.10 Creative Park, and is currently an Associate Professor at Mirror Lake Nursing College, Macau. Additionally, she holds various roles in arts and cultural organizations.
Her art is characterized by her contemporary blown glass works, showcasing her talent in transforming fragile materials into impactful statements. Her works have been featured in more than 50 international and domestic art exhibitions, with pieces being permanently displayed in renowned institutions both in China and internationally.
