自身のバックグラウンドを起点とした「自己に内在する感覚やあらゆるイメージ」を紐解く中で様々な表現の展開を試みる。また作品の代表的なカラーともいえる淡い翡翠色を放つ釉薬は、故郷 熊野で産出される那智黒石を調合することで生まれ、自身のやきもの表現において多く用いられている。

Starting from his own background, he tries to develop various expressions while unraveling the “”feelings and images that are inherent in himself””. In addition, the pale jade glaze, which can be said to be the representative color of his work, was created by mixing Nachi black stone produced in his hometown Kumano, and is often used in his own pottery expression.
