ニューヨーク在住のガラスアーティスト。幼少期よりガラスという素材に魅了され、その特性を探求する中で独自の技法を確立した。作者の関心は、目に見える身体と、感情・記憶・意識といった目に見えない精神的な現象との共存や相互作用にある。作品の多くはガラスを主要な素材とし、人体をモチーフとしている。ガラスの持つ脆さや、無色透明であるがゆえの存在の不確かさは、作品において重要な要素である。
A glass artist based in New York, she has been fascinated by the material of glass since childhood and has developed her own unique techniques through her exploration of its characteristics. Her interest is in the coexistence and interplay of the visible body and invisible aspects of life, such as emotions, memories, and consciousness. Many of her works use glass as the main material and feature the human body as a motif. The fragility of glass and the uncertainty of its existence due to its colorlessness and transparency are important elements in her works.
