ARTIST INFORMATION

1974年さいたま市生まれ、 1993年 笠間焼窯元 大津廣司氏に師事。2014年愛知県窯業高等技術専門学校修了。2022年 茨城県に築窯、在住。東京を中心に海外はスイスアメリカで作品を発表している。
2004年 第18回ユザワヤ創作大賞展 金賞、2014年第43回長三賞常滑陶業展 長三賞を受賞。2017年KOBE ART MARCHE の公簿「Artists meets Gallery」入選がきっかけで芦屋画廊で初個展開催
元来山好きの作家の作る山は、室町時代に始まったと言われる「盆山」の現代版で、盆栽と並んで、日本の宇宙芸術を現代に復活させたものです。

Born in Saitama in 1974. In 1993, he studied under Kasama ware kiln owner Hiroji Otsu. In 2014, he graduated from Aichi Prefectural Cera- mics Technical College. In 2022, he built a kiln in Ibaraki Prefecture and lives there. He exhibits his works mainly in Tokyo, but also in Switzerland and the United States. In 2004, he won the Gold Prize at the 18th Yuzawaya Creation Award Exhibition, and in 2014, he won the Choza Prize at the 43rd Choza Prize Tokoname Ceramics Exhibition. In 2017, he held his first solo exhibition at ASHIYAGARO after being selected for the KOBE ART MARCHE public exhibition “Artists meets Gallery.”
The mountains created by the artist, who is originally a lover of mountains, are a modern version of “Bonzan”, which is said to have originated in the Muromachi period, and, like bonsai, are a modern revival of Japanese space art.
